• Thank the Lord for 2026

  It is no secret that I have been ready to turn the page on 2025 for quite some time. In a lot of ways, 2025 equates to being the worst year of my life. However, I am hoping in time that I will be able to look back at 2025 and describe it as the most transformative!
  
  There are many new chapters I am looking forward to in my life. Starting fresh in 2026 is certainly one I have been looking forward to! I’ve got spiritual, family, community, and financial goals lined up that I believe are truly achievable. I’ve got to make sure that I surround myself with the right people to check all those boxes.
  
  My word for 2026: Determined. No one else on this planet will be more determined than me, I can promise you that.

• Hello World!

  It’s funny…As I was creating this website, the “Hello World” (which is common slang for any tech nerd, btw) was the default setting for my first post. I thought to myself, what a fitting starter title for my first entry here. The website itself is saying “Hello World” as I am.
  
  I’ve never been a fan of reading and writing. I have always acknowledged that people who do enjoy reading and writing are way smarter than me. However, I think I was willing to sacrifice this part of the “adulting” phase for so long because I consumed so much information through social media and was left satisfied. After a few months of taking the advice of family and friends, I started to journal and read more, whether it be after my New Morning Mercies devotional, the Bible itself, or books I have been meaning to get to, most notably Sandcastle Kings by Rich Wilkerson Jr. (banger). I see now that I was an idiot for many years lol. I ran out of pages in my paper journal, so this is gonna be my new outlet for jotting some thoughts down. Could be daily, could be weekly. We’ll see how it goes.
